Where can I find a copy of my policy documents?All policy documents are emailed if we have your email address, otherwise they are sent in the post to you. If you would like a copy of your current policy documents simply contact us and duplicates can be issued.
Is VAT applicable?VAT is not applicable but Insurance Premium Tax is applied to insurance policies. For details of how much insurance premium tax is levied against your policy please refer to your policy schedule or contact us for a breakdown.
How do I cancel a policy with you?To terminate a policy with us during the policy period please notify us via email or letter. All policies are cancelled according to the terms of the particular insurer and subject our cancellation fees.
What are your charges?All of our charges are stated on our Terms of Business. Our Terms of Business are included on every letter we send to you, attached to every email quotation or papers enclosure and are also included
on our Terms of Business page.
What happens at renewal?Prior to renewal of your policy we will contact you with our recommendation for the year ahead. We will review the insurance market seeking quotations from other insurers on your behalf.
On the renewal invitation letter sent to you it will state what the costs are of your policy and whether your policy will automatically renew.
What do I do if I need to make a change to my policy information?It is important that your policy is updated and accurate. If you need to make a change to your policy at any stage contact us straight away so we can advise you accordingly.
How do I make a claim?Insurance policies are sold on the basis you may need to make a claim and if this is the case you need will need the assistance of your insurance provider.

Motor PoliciesFor every motor policy sold by Sharrocks we include a Claims Report Card and Glove Box Form. These should be on hand in the event of any accident or loss involving your vehicle allowing you the policyholder to report claims quickly and directly to insurers, or via our website
